Blanket top done!

I put the last rows together today, so now my blanket top is finished!

It's got a sailor look with the embroidered sailboats that match the blue fabric...

I didn't get backing when we were last at the fabric store, so it's time for an always welcome occasion - a trip to JoAnn's! :o)

  4. You might find my blog of interest where I critique Josh Harris's book.

I Kissed Dating Goodbye: Wisdom or Foolishness?

Unfortunately Josh Harris is quick to point out the problems with dating but reluctant to share any of the problems with his approach.

    Hope this helps.

  5. It's quite charming, Mel, despite the last minute frazzle to figure out which rows went where! A lesson learned in the evils of partially piecing quilt tops and not taking any pictures! :D

  6. Thanks, girlies! I'm really pleased with how it turned out! :o)

Steve - Thank you for sharing your concerns. I'm very much enjoying the book, and agree with most of Josh Harris's points, though I realize it’s not full-proof. But I think that the people involved tend to be hurt less if they avoid traditional dating. But thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.
