Alphabet Soup Quilt
Look what I got at the quilt show! Only $2 on clearance, I thought it was very cute.
And my sis got this pattern. So sweet!

Oooo, both patterns look perfectly lovely. Make sure to post pics of your progress :) Btw, you asked about the cake I made for my dad....it was actually one of the easiest cakes I've ever made. I filled and frosted a two-layer chocolate cake with buttercream icing and and did a simple shell piping around the bottom and top edges. Then I melted some chocolate chips, drizzled it over the top, and piped "DAD" with my shell tip. ;]
